Undoubtedly most of the designees came from the United States because of the fact APICS is one of the ancient organizations with a long history in America. What amazing is not the hard-passed examination but the broad reaches of the certification. Unexpected countries appears on the consignees list such as Russian Federation, Israel, Oman, even Nigeria and Kenya, which makes people not only admire APICS for the highly marketing capabilities but also wondering how people can take the examination from such a kind of faraway districts.
One thing also need to pay attention is the high designees rate from India, even higher than Canada(even though it's a rough statistics without considering of the populations of the countries). Maybe it reflects the willing to touch the international society (even though it's the certification provided by the United States organization) and the close connection between India and the United States.
In current brand label oriented society, companies need to develop their own brand values, the same as non-profit organizations or certifications. From the CSCP statistics, it seems that only approximate 2.6 thousand people passed the examination in the past two years, at least 5.6 million US dollars revenue was contributed by the newly certification which reflect APICS's brand value.
